As for the bikes,did you ever think the people with bikes have another long travel that the train doesn't go to? or maybe he's a bike courier by trade.
IMO this stuff is getting out of hand,bad enough the smokers had to stop smoking in public places like bars and patios now poeple want them to put on fresh clothes after a smoke. I feel like were turning communist.
Maybe save up for a car and you wouldn't have to put up with smelly people and someone running over your foot with a 10lb bicycle and since you love clean air make sure its a hybrid.

First off, you aren't supposed to bring your bike on the train during rush our since it's packed like a sardine can, I understand people need to bring their bikes on, but they should do so during the appropriate times.
re: smoking, while I agree it's public transit, it's still gross, i'm ranting and i hate it, and i do continue to "suck it up" because transit is a hell of a lot better than dealing with traffic. Next time you complain about traffic i hope someone says "they are public roads, deal with it, if you don't like it, don't drive".
also, i have 2 cars (i'm not bragging, just saying i don't need to "save up" to buy one).
