Provincial taxes are better than federal taxes. Municipal taxes are better than provincial taxes. If I was in charge I would immediately slash federal taxes by 50% or so and give that money to municipalities and provinces.

Haha I'm sorry but this is just such a bad idea. You have no idea how taxation works and what it goes to if you think having your taxes remain in your community is a good idea. Just a wild statement.
