10 for McDavid is a joke. Your scoring scale literally says it's measuring performance relative to excpectations, and you gave him a 10? 0 goals, 1 5v5 assist, 3 PP assists in 3 medal-round games is a 10 in your book?
Bennett, a last-second injruy replacement who only played in two medal-round games gets a 3? He scored the same amount of goals as McDavid did and got one less 5v5 point, but was instrumental in helping us tie the game late in the 3rd vs Czechia.
Suzuki a 4? He was one of our best players.
Marner an 8, I agree with. Harley I'd give a 7, but 6 is fine. Celebrini a 10 is obvious. Stone an 8 though? I'd put him at a 6. I'd have Bennett at a 5 at least. Would have been nice to see him get one, but worked his way from healthy scratch at the start of the medals to 2nd line minutes in the final game. Bennett Marchand Wilson was easily our second-best line. I agree with Marshy's low rating. The guy's usually a killer, but was fumbling the puck left and right today. Marner is very good, but needs to play with capitalizers. Would have loved to see him paired with Celebrini. Reinhart scored more goals than McDavid in the medals, despite only being used as a 13th forward (wow, such coaching!), and you gave him a 4 lol.
I guess overall, most of your rankings aren't super terrible. In spite of my rant, Bennett isn't that far off what I would give him... but 10 for McJesus though is just crazy. He's supposed to be the best player on the planet, but 0 goals and 1 5v5 point in the three biggest games of the Olympics gets him a 10?
