No dude, absolutely not. 2002 In Salt Lake City was at whole different level completely. We lost to the States in the 1996 World Cup, then got absolutely embaressed at the '98 winter games, we were supposed to dominate that, the hype was unreal, NHL players at the Olympics, international stage, NHL takes a two week break for this. And we fall flat on our faces. Run into Dom Hasek, can't even medal because we didn't show up against Finland.
2010 was big too, home ice in Vancouver, disappointing show in Italy four years early too but nothing.. absolutely nothing compares to 2002. "Our" game was on the line in 2002, and nothing matched that.
2002 game was just so damn important.
