It is what it is. Also worth noting that there were quite a few interviews, for some reasons Canadians seem to enjoy highlighting this stuff instead of all the comments about how great your players are and how good your team played.
Also, FYI, post-retirement Selänne has turned out to be just a really garbage guy. He's respected as a player, but as a person he (and his wife) are probably some of the least liked celebrities in the country.
If he's not whining about hockey he's whining about how women are out of control, or liking messages about white supremacy and how queerness is a sickness.
There's literally been a meme that if a Selänne is complaining about you, you know you've done something right.
