Ok I agree with this; you can't just keep doing it. That's definitely the case. But where one of the top offensive players on the team sees an opening, they should. That's not every shift but it's a few times a period. When a team is playing the trap they want everything to go predictably; you have to throw them a few curveballs and "OH #### OH #### MACKINNON IS SKATING 25 MILES AN HOUR THROUGH THE NEUTRAL ZONE" is a good curveball.
