That lazy change by the d-men probably happens a lot and wouldn't be unique to this play.
But what remains unique to this play is the 4 forwards on the ice for the entire shift.
It's shocking a lineman didn't notice that as the change occurred, especially since their job is to monitor those line changes as the back linesman.

Not that it should fall to them, but it's also weird that the Canadian bench didn't notice, including back in the Czechia zone and start calling for it from the bench. Most of the time players notice this stuff.
And I didn't notice it watching it live.
It's really good that the game didn't get decided by that. Would have been a black mark on the tournament and hard to excuse.
