Always chuckle a bit when people take a different view so seriously (both from the overly optimistic and debbie downer perspective). Its ok to see different things than other people, it isn't an exact science and it wouldn't be fun if it was.
Personally, I'm not sold on Parekh yet. I think he's got lots of potential and promise, but if pressed, I'd guess that it is more likely he doesn't reach it and ends up as a PP specialist and a 5/6 guy. I don't watch the other leagues though, so it is based purely on him as a flame thus far and its a tough league for a young guy so I think any "projection" of him is with a lot of built in error margin. If he makes full use of his potential I'd be ecstatic and I'm not going to begrudge anyone that sees it differently than I do...and I may change my view completely in the next 4 months. Nothing is locked in stone.
Gridin seems like the real deal to me for sure. I think its a tough year for Coronato but think he's a solid top 6 guy at minimum.
I'm excited to see the next bunch that make the flames! Even the "experts" who do this for a living can't reliably pick who is going to make it vs not, so its always humorous to see some people so firm in their perspective and convinced that other people are "wrong".
Calgary seems to be drafting some interesting and exciting players. Whether they all hit or not is to be determined, but it is going to be fun watching to see.
