Bikes are not allowed during 6am to 9 am or during 3pm to 6 pm Mon-Fri on all trains. Bikes are allowed only in the end of each car and never directly behind the driving end. These rules are rarely enforced but most drivers will make PA's and many will hold the train until the bike(s) are off. Additonally, during rush hour there is so many people on some of these trains that there just isn't room for a bike even if the driver lets you.
