I'm fully capable of recognizing the world we live in, and to suggest that this mass consolidation of wealth can continue unabated is to ignore the reality of the foundations of things like math. I believe things can change for the better, but we need to acknowledge first that no, this is not great, and it is not leading to the best of futures. I don't believe the world has gone to ####, I just believe we've allowed ourselves to be mislead by BS like trickle down, which was just an excuse to strengthen the kleptocracy. Desiring a different path is not some sign of misery, but it is frustrating to run against the entirely defeatist attitude that this is the best we can do as a species.
