You're not wrong, but let it never be said that Farkas isn't politically savvy.
He's learned from Gondek's missteps (muddled comms, shifting timelines) dealing with the last feeder break in 2024, and is clearly trying to avoid repeating those. His whole martyr line on Reddit is
literally untrue, but it disarms the angry blame mob, and when we ultimately come out on the other side of this (assuming nothing goes catastrophically awry), people will give him credit for the fix and for strong leadership and accountability on the matter.
