I’m coming at this genuinely - Spurs should’ve stuck with Ange. He worked within the parameters he was given and won something. If he had approached things differently, Spurs would’ve placed higher in the League, but if they did, it would be upper mid table. The bottom three in the league were so bad and far off the pace, there was never any danger of relegation.

So he approached it right in my opinion, he had an opportunity to establish his brand on the team without danger of troubling either end of the table while delivering the first trophy in years. You can argue that, in Europe, Spurs had a fortunate draw, but thats not their fault - you can only beat what’s in front of you, and Ange's team did that.
