That Aero gate intersection is stupid, for sure. It seemed like it was designed differently and then someone half assed it at the last moment.

What I will say for the Beddington ramp is that the sight lines are weird and is a bit of a jumbled mess at times for inexplicable reasons. A slight inconvenience in navigating the area, until chaos of bad drivers maxes out, which... is kinda a lot.

Merge at an angle instead of parallel to the lane with only a short bit of road once you get to the curve. Those going north bound will see both Beddington merge vehicles and vehicles taking the lane to go Deerfoot north.

So as the West bound driver, you have to evaluate look straight in front of you for bumper tag players and the excessively fearful, look front and left towards the ramp and overpass to make sure there's no traffic for a sudden stop due to congestion at the light/weaving of vehicles to get onto Beddington Blvd, to the right for vehicles going into Aero, to the right for vehicles coming out to merge onto Beddington and figure out depth perception from a distance to the right for vehicles going north instead of Beddington. The amount of times I've also seen vehicles stalled/stopped right on that overpass seems inexplicably high, especially when there's so much shoulder space just before and after for someone with car troubles to pull over instead.

I wish there was a visual divider for that East/West section from Aero so I don't see vehicles going northbound at a glance and only see the Beddington mergers on the right. That will help a lot in using peripheral vision to figure out if someone is coming in. But also IMO the only way to fix that now is to make the overpass a 3 lane so that those coming from Aero have their own lane and if they need to get on Beddington Blvd, make it so their lane does something similar to Country Hills Gate.
I don't drive that area but looking at Google streetview, it appears from road signs that the speed limit to merge onto Beddington from 11th is 30kph while the Beddington exit off of Deerfoot speed limit is 60kph. That can't help.
