Well, first of all it's illegal to bring a bike on the train during rush hour- for a reason. A bike takes up a lot of space; and as almost everybody has agreed upon; space is the biggest issue on the train.
And I fail to see where he mentions a tire running over his foot; nevermind the fact that bike weigh a lot more than 10 pounds. Even
Lance Armstrong's bike weighs more than that; and I'm sure few people use a bike like that for commuting to work.
