To attack a marginalized group under the guise of compassion love and healing is one the most disgusting things going on today in the conservative movement. To be so obtuse to not realize saying show compassion for their real identity, they dont need to change is the whole point of gender AFFIRMING care. To accept people as they are and they dont have to hide or change their true selfs to meet other people's idea of identity. And if there is an increase in violence recently, maybe having your sense of identity being attacked and singled out as being what is wrong with society, being called mentally ill and having your rights taken away as in this province using the not withstanding clause might have something to do with it? Experts warned of suicide rates increasing in the LGBTQ community as society marginalize's once again after making strides to be accepted.
