Not entirely true, it has to be unloaded and you have to have a PAL.
Did you know you can walk into a home sense/Walmart and pick up a knife.
You can walk around with a knife on your belt or in your pocket.
Go into sport check and pick up a baseball bat or hockey stick.
Drive around with it in your car.
A kid can grab their parent's keys off the counter and hop in their car.
all of these items can be used as weapons to inflict serious injury just as easily.
