5-35lb kettlebell for this guy that seems to cover everything from injury recovery to warmups to serious swinging around stuff. Keep in mind you can hold a 35 in one hand either nothing or another weight in the other so easy to stack.
KB's most definitely IMO give you the best time-value and functional mobility/strength. But yeah, take a class and/or watch some videos online and let your body adapt before moving to higher weights and faster speeds. Also easy enough to do at home or the gym.
