The American's have scored 725 points in 737 games (.98 points/game).
Scoring totals mean even less for defensemen, or Evan Bouchard would have made Canada's team. Still, here are the numbers:
Canada 442 points 272 games .62 points/game
US 405 points 281 games .69 points/game

Canada is also (so far) using their lowest point forwards and Doughty (who only has 14) as extras. So, on ice they might be even more advantaged.
