I doubt SJ would trade big assets for Kadri, but if the Flames refuse to retain salary that could knock out some teams in the mix.
I could see SJ or Utah sneaking in and paying less and not asking for salary retention as they don't need it right now or next year.
Tampa could trade for him as well and Bjorkstrand coming back should allow them to add Kadri. Tampa cap situation next year is pretty good they could just pay Kadri his full $7M
Carolina too, but some are saying Kadri has them on his no trade list
