I generally agree with you but I think he gets a first plus a b prospect with a cap dump coming back.
I just don’t see why the flames would trade him before the offseason without getting a 1st. The Nelson return is really unlikely without 3 years of solid retention.
I do hope to be wrong though and a team loses its mind like Treleving did for Carlo or Tampa did for Jeannot in 2023. That would be amazing.
