Jalen Carter was charged with reckless driving less than two months before the 2023 NFL Draft, stemming from a crash several weeks earlier that left one of his Georgia teammates and a Georgia staff member dead. He still went 8th overall to the Eagles. What McKenna did isn't even remotely comparable which is why I don't think this ultimately will matter much for the draft process although if a team was on the fence, this may be fuel to take another player. I would have no issues if the Flames drafted him.
