Other than that, unless he's sentenced to time (likely the least-likely outcome), it's not gonna effect his draft position at all.

Will it even be resolved by the draft? The wheels of justice can move pretty slow. And even if he doesn't do time, a conviction could still impact his ability to enter the U.S. in the future.
I don't know know how big of a risk it is, but would a GM risk a 1-3 OA on it? I bet some wouldn't.
