He's pretty arrogant about the whole thing, for a guy who had limited protection and received an offer that would've given his family multi generational wealth and put him in the 20 best paid defencemen in the NHL. And he is not in the 20 best defencemen in the NHL, he's not even a No.1 on most teams.
And yes it is naive to expect fans of the club who developed Fatmus Sandwhichson to kiss the ring on his way out.
