The poster who is pulling the race card about Evander Kane needs to check himself. Nobody gives a damn what race Evander is - he has a long list of transgressions.
The tweet posted in the previous page - if that is true, I am back on-board the McKenna train full-stop.
McKenna is with his mom at a Penn State event of some sort. Some drunken idiot confronts them, yaps at them, calls Mrs. McKenna a whore, and ends up getting himself kicked out of the bar. Hey, good on McKenna for not popping him right there and then, right?
Then when the McKennas leave, this same idiot was waiting for them in order to confront them again. If I was Gavin McKenna, I too would pop him once or twice right away too. What is McKenna supposed to do at that point? Wait for him to throw the first punch? Potentially pull out a weapon?
I assume it was just right outside, or in a parking lot at 2am - dark. The guy who just yapped enough to get himself kicked out of the establishment chose to wait for you to leave, wanting to confront you. Is doing that to just apologize or something? Or is he there to try and kick your ass? Good on McKenna for popping him only twice. 5 times? 10? Yeah, we are suddenly getting into a very unreasonable amount of force (assuming that the 'victim' is no longer fighting back). 15 he would be incarcerated, and would probably need many years under the guidance of a shrink, right?
But popping a guy who confronted you and your mom inside the bar to a sufficient enough degree to get himself kicked out, and wanting to further engage with you enough that he actually waits for you to leave 'x' amount of time later... popping him twice doesn't seem so unreasonable now.
Again, basing it on that tweet on the previous page. As more information comes out, it may change my opinion. At this point in time, I see it as McKenna making sure he wasn't the victim in that situation - he very well could have become the victim, right?
I guess we will soon know the completely story. Not judging anyone completely until then, even the guy who confronted the McKennas. For all we know, maybe Gavin or his mom started it, got this guy kicked out, and chose to follow him out. That would again change my perception of this event. Curious to see what the truth was, and what the video shows (If it is released).
