So, worst case scenario, the resolution passes and people start to move. Realistically, I think the number is way lower than people are guessing. Selling a home, finding a job, and moving are major undertakings.
That said, my fear is that my house price collapses and I am unable to sell it for even close to what it is 'worth' today. I would be basically stuck, as I am sure many others would be as well. What is the plan then? Make the best of it as an 'Alberta-istan' or start studying the citizenship exam for the US?
And before anyone says it would never happen, remember Brexit. This #### is real. My fear is not the die-hards but the ones that vote yes "Just to send a message to Ottawa." That is truly a FAFO scenario. Would we be able to keep our Canadian citizenship?
