I am not so sure that Kirkland's time with Calgary is up. Send him down to help out the Wranglers during the break, why not?
If he gets claimed, then good luck to him. He has been a good story and a good soldier for Calgary, and I will always wish him the best. Hopefully he sticks - Wranglers need the help, and Calgary can always use the depth anyway.
