Jacques Lemaire was the 1C for 5 cups - not elite. Conn Smythe winners are also often not the elite guys but rather guys who catch fire at the right time - - Bennett, Marchessault, ROR, Justin Williams, Tim Thomas, Brad Richards.

Obviously if you set the bar at the moon - no one is going to have 4 elite players. There's barely 4 players in the league if that is your bar.
