I went 8, but if there was 7.5 I would have gone with that.

We have had pending UFAs, and whether or not we tried to re-sign them we still moved them for assets. The jury is out for Kadri and Coleman, but we seem to replace older vets with younger guys, little by little. To me, that is a great strategy to build a team with cohesiveness.

I think Conroy has been nothing but great for this organization. I wish ownership was just a little more hands-off so Conroy could really take some more of the nails out of what used to be a team that would fight for a playoff spot. However, we are at a time that the Flames need to do a proper rebuild and not expedite it like Treliving did.
