Or maybe you’re saying the cancellation and refund takes you past the due date? In which case, I’d try calling the card company.

I already have the statement and date owing - eg) $2500 by Feb 15 and then the insurance company subsequently refunded $2400 to the credit card, so the current credit balance is $100, but amount owing still shows as $2500 in the little “pay this amount by…” window.

I just found it a little odd. I guess the credit card company just doesn’t bother to update it to, “you owe $100 by February 15” after the statement has already been generated.

I am probably overthinking it and I’ll just pay the $100.
