Sadly I think any expectation of his offence coming alive here should be thrown out the window, it’s not happening in this type of system.
He’s more concerned with his golf game nowadays anyway, I heard a rumour he’s designing his own course or something, so I’d wager he’s putting more energy in that based on his effort shown on the ice. Not sure how true it is, but the guy seems more dialled in on the course in the summer.
The skill and ability is there, you don’t just lose it… but man does he ever look uninspired out there night in and out.
