I watched Gridin a lot last night. He was very unnoticeable. I had to search to find him on the ice most of the time. He wasn't skating, he wasn't putting in a ton of effort, and he wasn't able to do anything with the puck once he got it. He was a little overwhelmed by the size and speed of the Caps. None of that is on Huska. There were a few shifts where his line struggled to get the puck out of the defensive zone. He was puck watching a lot and looked lost as to where he should be in the zone to fulfill his assignment.

These are growing pains. He didn't play well last night, and his minutes dropped as a result. He was on the point to start the powerplay on their first opportunity. I'm at a lost as to what else Huska needs to do in the imaginary worlds that some fans dream up.
