How do you figure that? The cap hit for the next five years would be 10.3, 10.3, 7.8, 10.3, 5.8. That isn't chump change.
After that, you have only an $800,000 cap hit, but it goes on for another five years, right when we could expect the team to be in its next competitive window and every dollar will count.
