Except that Huska isn't actually saying that.
Every player gets ice time at both ends of the ice. Huska's expectation is that players will do their best to learn the defensive system and follow it when they are in the defensive zone. When they are in the other zone, they can freewheel as much as they like.
Parekh isn't going to score
any points when he's hemmed in his own zone because he and his teammates can't get possession of the puck. That's true under any coach in the world.
