The guy is even through 11 games as a rookie and only an inch shorter and 6lbs lighter than Matthew Schaefer. He's bigger than Quinn Hughes is and absolutely he needs to add some strength but it's not like he's undersized. You can say the NHL isn't a development league but you can't learn to play in the NHL, not in the NHL. Look at Celebrini (or literally any NHL player), has he not developed? He's learning as he goes and he's getting better and better. There are also a lot of players who have figured out the AHL and can never put it together in the NHL so I don't think playing in the AHL is a silver bullet either.
