"When Theodore and McNabb went down", being the key factor there. He was a placeholder that held his own when given the opportunity. We saw that with Hanley last year. Nobody's going to trade for Hanley as a top-4 guy.
I'm exaggerating because he's better than Hanley and has a far longer track record of being an NHL regular. But I just don't think the league sees him as a bona-fide top-4 and are willing to pay that kind of a price for him, and more importantly (and this is key), I don't think Calgary acquired him to flip him.
