I doubt 20 teams were making serious trade offers for him. I mean sure, there were probably at least 20 teams that would take him if they thought they were getting steal of a deal, but that's true for any player.
The rumours had about 5 or 6 teams seriously interested enough to make offers (L.A., Detroit, Boston, San Jose, and possibly Dallas) and Andersson had 2 of those on his 6 team NTC. So really, Conroy probably only got 3 or 4 competing offers worth considering at the most.
