I always thought of the Flyers as calgary east.
An okay team but never seem like a too threat consistently. In and out of playoffs, dont make it deep often. although i do think theyve had a bit more playoff success then the flames.
Always more of a blue collar team without the top stars and a bit overlooked.
Biggest rival (penguins/oilers) have had multiple generational stars.
