Ok how abouts:

Set up a scavenger hunt in your house. Each clue will have a red long-stemmed rose attached. There will be 12 clues, and in the end she'll have the whole bouquet. anyways the clues lead to a gift certificate that's homemade that tells her to go out and buy herself(on you) a nice outfit(dress, shoes...etc..). also a gift certificate to get her hair and makeup done possibly. girls love shopping and being pampered and suprises and who doesn't love a good scavenger hunt??

anyways then take her to dinner- i'd say maybe the calgary tower for the view.

the dinner barely even matters because she'll be so blown away by the thought and effort of what lead to it.
