Some hope with the Detroit rumour.
I was listening to the 32 Thoughts Podcast yesterday and then again listened to Friedman's segment today on CBC, and this guy is such a politician. Regarding the Ottawa situation he said they had to put out a statement because guys would demand a trade as their families didn't sign up for that? It's a random person who sent out a tweet. It took a life of it's own, yes, but it wasn't team sanctioned, and could have happened in any city. If there wasn't some truth to it why would guys be so defensive over this? Just tell your significant other it simply isn't true (if it isn't), and move on. But the team certainly seems super rattled by it which shows there may be something to it. In any case, Friedman said that he'd demand a trade if that happened to him as his family didn't sign up for it (it being a random rumor). I'm sure the family didn't sign up for being cheated on either, but let's ignore that aspect. Friedman holding water for the guys who pay his paycheque once again.
