His contract is so long that I fear the effects of his cap hit at the end of his deal. He'll be even older, and the deal will likely be even less cap efficient. It could affect the future competitive window.
But for now, who cares. The team needs to rebuild. As long as he isn't delaying the progression of the younger players. And I have no reason to believe that this is what is happening.
