Anderson has been hunting at testing the FA market for a while, that likely doesn't happen without family discussion and contingency planning. Remember when the hold up was to keep things stable for the 1000 games ceremony? They literally have assistants and financial means to make their move and transition easier than my family vacations.
The expectation of hand holding for this transaction is getting a bit silly. This is why they are paid like they are.
I love Rasmus, and I am happy for him in his resurgence in a contract year. Choices have been made, and I hope Flames pull the trigger when it's best for the team.
