Nobody is moving Coleman and Kadri because they don't like the players. They are great players and great guys to have around the team.
And if they were 29 years old I'd be way more open to keeping those guys.
But with them both being 35 years old and with where this team is in their build I think that's why they are being signaled out by the fan base.
It's age and contract status in relation to where this Flames team is that's driving it.

Ideal world this is a win win for both sides. I'm sure they and their families love it in Calgary and hopefully when their playing careers are done they come back and settle their families here, but if they have any level of competitive juice left to try and win a cup they should be welcoming a move to a contender.
It's funny though because alternatively, if these are guys that have no aspirations to try and win cups anymore and are happy to run out their careers in Calgary then these maybe shouldn't be guys they want in the room anyways.
Hopefully the Flames can maximize value for these guys and let them go somewhere where they can thrive and possibly have a couple more shots at championships. Win-Win, no hard feelings either way.
