It was what I had readily at hand. I'm sure his fancy stats Point in the same direction. He seems similar to McDavid - living off the power play and an even strength liability. The difference is that defensive ability is more important in a defender.
I'm not worried about Parekh though. Concerns about defensive play have accompanied a lot of elite defencemen and most have overcome them - Makar, Hughes, for example, had similar caveats.
