There is so much runway between now (19) and what the kid will end up as in the NHL (maybe not until 25/26) that any one pretending like they have it all worked out attempting to brace people for imminent disappointment should be laughed out of the building.

There's also probably a slim chance he winds up with Bouchard's defensive acumen given that the he's being developed in the Flames system. This team actually cares about how players perform in their end, and have plenty of time to work with Zayne.
