Seems common sense to the rest of the world that this was a fantastic day for the people of Venezuela.. they got freed from a dictator, sorry you can't wrap your head around the fact that Trump had a positive net impact on something but it's just the truth.
As for the Carney not getting a deal done with the US.. yeah I'm not putting this ALL on him, his padawan Trudeau also couldn't negotiate his way out of a wet paper bag so there's that. Too worried about the environment and too focused on taxing us all to death I guess.
And as for former US president's blocking KXL yeah fair enough, Sleepy Joe was useless. But Trump wanted this done since his first term. Lots of blame to go around. My point stands though.. not getting it built is an ongoing colossal failure for Canada and Alberta.
Also, thank you to those with more knowledge than me on the difference between Alberta's oil and that of Venezuela, I was asking for clarification because I keep hearing mixed answers about whether the refineries in the US are even capable of handling raw Venezuelan crude right out of the gate. Interesting stuff that will become very important to pay attention to going forward..
Can't remember the other points everyone is throwing rocks at me for but yeah I appreciate (most) of the discourse guys. If you haven't already... look up all the videos of Venezuelans celebrating around the world today. This is a good thing, yes things will have to be stabilized to ensure it stays this way but just enjoy the moment if you can, I know I am.
