They might have won this POS division if they ran with Cousins from week one. Or, they are the Falcons and Cousins would have been a bottom 3 QB to start the year instead of his usual 15th best QB, and they would still finish 8-9 with Penix coming in late to supplant Cousins. I agree its a talented roster, but it feels like we've been saying this about them for years now.
Basically, the Falcons are a unique blend of a poorly run management team + mediocre coaches that can only win in non-pressure games + elite at meaningless games to cost draft position/scheduling & keeping coaches they shouldn't (Raheem should be gone either way, but watch this run keep him alive).
