Reschny likely plays some AHL after another NCAA year.
Reschny does need to bulk up if he is going to be playing a Mony style at center.
His faceoff prowess has clearly elevated him to true C. So best to plan accordingly and avoid a Bennett fumble this time.
I wonder what type of player Bennett would have been for us if we let him play a year at center at AHL level when he first turned pro. We were all too impatient with him. Lesson on handling Reschny.
Feeling quite confident we have at least a 3C floor in Reschny with his 2 way game. But his ceiling can be much higher.

Bennett had that year long injury that hampered him. He maybe should have had a year in the A though. When he started he was just not a good centre as far as using his wingers. Then again, I can't remember who was on the farm back then who he would have progressed with.
I continue to think that while the Flames handled him poorly in hindsight, he probably also re-evaluated and refocused himself after the trade. he needed to succeed or go down the road of other promising guys who struggled but never recovered, like Puljujarvi or Patrick.
