Conroy did not want to sit on the assets and cap space. By his own admission he attempted to take "big swings" last summer. The cap space reflects the difficulty in making trades when trying to find moves that support winning both now and in the future, not a planned direction to rebuild.

If taking almost no action in almost 2 years, while relying on a veteran core to keep us in the middle of the pack, is an intentional direction then we have bigger problems then a lack of a commited direction.
2026 and people are still making the “everything over the last three years that hurts my argument was an accident/doesn’t count” play and thinking people will take it seriously eh?

Kudos on the effort. I guess that well never runs dry.
