Shohei Ohtani had easily the best single baseball game in history in game 4 of the NLCS. 6 for 6 with 3 home runs, plus he pitched 6 scoreless innings with 10 strikeouts.
And he did that in a playoff game - it wasn't in a midseason game that didn't matter against a bad team. The Brewers had the most wins in MLB and it was an elimination game for them.
