Not the case at all.
There is the group that wants the team to draft top 5 in order to land the game changing piece that teams typically need to get in order to build a consistent contender. When they got off to a terrible start it was the chance to lean in. It remains to be seen what they will do. No one is denying the pending UFA who they can’t reach an agreement with will be traded but will they trade the coveted 34-35 year olds or will they hold onto them in efforts to compete for a playoff spot?
There is the group who feel the flames are doing everything correctly during the rebuild and others that want them to lean into selling off more and prioritizing a high pick.
I remain on the fence if the flames will move the 3 vets and pick in the top 5 or just trade Andersson and have their pick slip out of the top 5 or even top 10.
